Robert “Robbie” Valdez is Chief of Operations at the Galindo Group.

 

Robbie joined the Galindo Group in July 2018 as assistant to the Controller. He moved to the Bryan/College Station area from Las Cruces, New Mexico to be closer to his granddaughters. He worked for a property management company in Las Cruces following a 25-year career with New Mexico State University (NMSU – the other Aggies), where he was the Assistant Director of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Department. His expertise centered largely around accounting for the University’s property, plant and equipment as well as contributing to the compilation of the University financial statements and serving as the audit liaison. He is a graduate of NMSU, receiving his Bachelor of Accountancy Degree in 1982. He is also a graduate of the Western Association of College and University Business Officers Business Management Institute at the University of California Santa Barbara.
